BAD BEACH

Dark and moody UK punk on this BAD BEACH demo. I have been trying to figure out how to describe these tracks, but I'm at a loss....maybe if THE MISSION had risen from the ashes of an anarcho punk band instead of a goth band? Listen for yourself, and someone give me a better comparison please, I'm going to eat breakfast. Cheers.

yeah...i can't really say I love it either, but i gave it a lot of listens trying to figure out what they were all about, and that's saying something...i guess? but what is it saying?
maybe it's saying that not everything can rule? what a horrible prospect!!

Well, I liked their 'Cut It Off' album quite a bit, especially their version of "The Snake", so thanks for this.

When did this date from? I saw them playing with Hate That Smile (some of whom I'd sung with a few years earlier in Atrox) in Southammpton in 86 or 87 (88?) and they were full on punk rock - reminded me of Black flag actually! They were seriously intense so SOMEWHERE they changed direction hard! And the Razza Dolls add another unknown piece to the Dorset punk spectrum of the 80s - thanks for that. Theres an attempt to list as many of the 80s punk bands from Dorset here - atrox.ork.uk
