FUNERAL PARADE

All I would have to do is tell you who was in this band and you would be knocking over your morning coffee (or your evening cocktail) trying to get to the 'download' button as quickly as possible. If I told you that this was perhaps the best example of modern goth/punk that I've heard in the last decade, than I hope that would pique your interest just as much...this sits somewhere between The Top-era CURE and UK DECAY, but adds in elements of Southern California dark punk and THE VSS styled atmospherics. Simply awesome, but I've come to expect nothing less from this crop of kids.

holy fuck. more of the type of gothy postpunk i complain about the kids never making anymore, and its sitting right under my nose here in portland. i should get out of the house more. thanks - this blog is an even better hookup than the bags of bagels back in the old noahs days in sf! and im gonna second the moral hex upload request to tide me over til i can get my hands on the real thing.

Jakke from Nerveskade and Calvin from Nerveskade/Bog People are the brains behind this operation. I wish that I could post the Moral Hex tape, but that's not going to happen until I get myself a copy - sorry gang.

And Joel...If a bunch of downloads makes you that happy, then I guess I should have given you more food! Hope you can make it out of the house when I'm up that way next month.

Didn't even know 1/2 of Ripper were responsible for this as well! I'll be in PDX in February, so you've got a few weeks to prepare.

up this way in feb, eh? touring? i believe extra-house travel can be arranged.

I sent money to the address you listed shortly after this was posted and I never received anything. Would you happen to have any other contact info?

and cheers for ur blog. great stuff there

Mediafire just pulled my files for this, saying it was copyright controlled by Taylor Swift. Apparently she is going to extreme lengths to keep her street cred intact.

Files re-zipped and should be good to go now, apologies for anyone who tried to check it out in the interim.
