Further evidence that 2014 was a good year for Canadian hardcore: MORTALITY RATE. I think they are going for a burly 'core, but this thing hits my NAUSEA nerve something fierce. Burly, downtuned shit that sounds as desperate as it does angry. I have a friend in Milwaukee who is a high school teacher...I picture Mr. Gatewood moshing hard in his classroom while the kids are at lunch today.
