Yesterday was the Statements compilation tape, and today is the second STATEMENT demo, from 1986. It's really just 3 1/2 songs, as "Drug Dealers Shall Be Shot" is a short simple instrumental number that sounds as much like an intro as a song. The other tracks are reverb drenched guitar driven 80s UK punk, killer stuff (even if "What Lies Ahead" meanders a bit too much). STATEMENT did a couple of splits with THE APOSTLES in the late 80s, and they were on an animal rights comp that featured a very early vinyl appearance by VEGAN REICH...not that this information is really that important, I just thought it was interesting.
