Just in case you need to fill in your gaps, I offer the first demo from Washington's COLD SWEAT. I snagged this when I saw them in 2001 and Shaun played the set wielding a baseball bat...if the goal was to be menacing, then it was extremely successful. "Yuppie Suicide" is a near perfect USHC track, and Nic's guitar is absolutely screaming - this is the guy who would go on to deliver torture in WALLS and DEAD LANGUAGE, and hearing him unhindered by genre or experience is more than a little refreshing. Jensen joined on drums for 2004's Blinded, but the drums here (especially tracks like "Fuck You And Smile") are all over the place and mindfuckingly wild. Primal, raw, brutal - this is the nucleus...it all just spread out from here.
