Sometimes you like your punk angular and spry. Sometimes you might like it snappy and weird (always with attitude of course). Sometimes you want blips and crackles and weird interludes and what you want is a track like "(Down At The) Club Anthrax" and then everything feels right. FORCED LAUGH could have been plucked from another realm - put em on a bill with D+V and CRAVATS and no one would even notice the time/space shift...but turn of the teens Canada was responsible for FORCED LAUGH and...it's just what I needed today. Punk as sonic collage stomps...a tape that sounds like the cover makes you think it's going to sound. "Malcolm Kirk (We Don't Like Him)" is the anthem you never knew you needed.
