Light years from typical TE fodder, Who Will Tell The Story Of Us? is a split featuring two dudes with acoustic guitars. I still have Roger Manning's 1988 SST LP and NUTHINSGOTNOPOWER kinda feels like that flavor of antifolk in a way that appeals to me...and "Shady Grove" is like Daniel Higgs by way of Dust Bowl-era Americana (seriously - good job on that one) so I'm pretty much sold. TODI STRONGHANDS doesn't hit me as hard....but hey man, everything can't be a winner. It's a dude who is really feeling his tracks, so that's cool...and I really like some of the shit on the other side of the tape.
