SKRAPYARD

Every bit as ugly and primitive as the neanderthal cover implies, SKRAPYARD plod through five tracks of gutter Oi that will make you question your affinity for new wave music and wonder why you aren't flailing around in a circle with your elbows in the air like an asshole. Nasty, rough sounds that hate you almost as much as they appear to hate cats...this is beyond childish, but it's kinda awesome. SKRAPYARD is the sound of middle aged rednecks who just discovered NEGATIVE APPROACH for the first time, open mic night at Buster's Tavern in Elgin better look the fukk out.

hey man i am just wondering what kind of tape deck do you use to rip all of these tapes. i own an onkyo ta-650 i hooked it up in my computer (i know all the works) but the sound is kind of "robotic" sounding.

i'm not sure about their opinion of cats personally, but they got their artwork done by Meatdog, lead singer of Reckless Aggression. I'm pretty sure the Reckless Aggression 7" artwork consists of someone kicking a dog in an alley. It's like all of his art is the result of handing a disturbed 12 year old a pencil. Plus his band is named after an album by a white power band.

This demo is total mind-numbing aggression. I find it quite a bit of fun, with it's midwestern, 20-years-too-late-Anit-Cimex sound. Add in a little dusting of hate-rock. The bands that make this creed of music are hard, fast, and short-lived. Therefore, this sound needs to be re-made & recycled by new bands as often as possible. The ones with the proper sound will stand out. Now, what did I do with that bag of cats?
